TODAY'S PROVERB  Presented by Edd McGrath

Sunday, May 20, 2012

A sluggard does not plow in season;so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing.

Proverbs 20:4

A sluggard is a person who is habitually inactive. If you are "plowing in season" you are taking appropriate action at the right time. If you want to participate in the joy of the harvest you must invest in the labor of the plowing and planting time. While this is an agricultural allegory it is a truth that covers all of life. Simply, you must plant to harvest. The sluggard is a lazy person, a fool, who hasn't grasped this truth. Go plow your field!
